I have been enjoying morning walks again. Have had some foot issues to contend with and am slowly increasing my activity. Even the geese at the park are slow to get moving.
Anybody still walking?

Oh yeah…every single day…it is an addiction like the runners I see in the early am. I was out at 6:15 today even though it was already 85 and humid. It is easier to tolerate in the early hours. Only did just under 2 miles though because of the impending storms. Got blessed good thunderstorm and rain…we needed it and it lowers the temp. Saw a cottontail…he or she was keeping pace with me in my subdivision …he was on the sidewalk and I was in the street. So cute.

@rosemarya I am walking from front yard to back yard alot! We have a potted madrone baby tree that needs to be planted. But until hubby gets home, it get watered "just a bit" twice a day. I have to use front door ramp to go out and around back [cannot do the steps down]. And weeding in spots around the place. Making myself get out and move before it gets too hot. Scrub jays have found our cherry trees, so there is daily cleanup from the mess they make.

I took a few walks on our camping trip, but even in the woods early am temps were at least 80, and there is so much smoke from Canada that we had ash on our picnic table and now on the patio at home.

But chasing with between 1 and 5 youngsters each day, around camp and at the beach, I was doing 5-6 miles a day, so I think that counts.

Cooler air coming for the next week so I can get serious walks again.
