There has to be a point where something went wrong in my body to cause this amount of bone loss.
I’m on the same journey bunky44.
Do you take vitamin K2?
I'm with you. My Dr tells me to research drugs he could prescribe and then decide. I do a whole bunch of research and absolutely enjoy it. Prolia was a hard no for me.
so in agreement but totally depressed because despite Algaecal (just for half my daily requirements) walking w weighted vest standing to use laptop during day wt lifting (but not huge amounts per the LIFTMOR test from Austrailia) and lots of dairy my scores got a little worse past 2 .5 years femoral from 2.7 to 2.9 and total hip 2.2 or 2.4 or maybe that's the spine - anyway Dr said they're all 4-6 % worse and is really pushing the Evenity she wanted me on since 2020. It scares me I don't have perfect teeth for one thing. I read this past year about an operation Local Osteo Enhancement Procedure . I'd rather do this than take drugs Curious if anyone knows anything about it.
I went to a dr for my kidneys and she noticed my parathyroid glad was saping the calcium out of my bones. She put me on calcitriol which our body produces from uvb rays. It's basically a mega vitamin D. Who knew vitamin D was so important! Check with your Dr and see if that could also be an issue for you...good luck in this medical maze...
