Thank you for this info..I will check this out. My Vit D level was 'right on'..I take 5,000iu's day.
It's so very frustrating that more in the medical field have no other answers for us then to take the 'drugs' that can cause more harm then a broken bone.
Yes..I'm having back pain..I find that using a warmed up sock, filled with rice ..heated in the microwave really helps more than anything else I've tried. I move it around on my back as I sit..and soon..all the pain is gone.
I'm doing more walking, with higher knees on my trampoline and had less pain over all yesterday. I also use walking sticks when I walk outside...but wasn't the day I tripped...after just coming from my Dexa test! silly me....

I admire all that you are doing to help yourself, @bunky44! Your exercise routine puts mine to shame. You did not respond to whether or not your parathyroid hormone level has been checked.

Do you know whether or not this has been done? If you do have hyperparathyroidism you will lose bone mass until the problem is corrected.

Here is some information from Mayo Clinic's website about this problem. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/hypoparathyroidism/symptoms-causes/syc-20355375
