Can't get an appointment: Any tips on what to do?

@lisagraber have you tried reaching out to the location closest to you in the Mayo Clinic Health System? It may result in a stepping stone to getting into Mayo Clinic. I am thinking that if they can’t find the answer to your medical issues, they would be able to refer you. Maybe having a little more of edge in getting you an appointment. Or at the very least are able to consult with a Mayo doctor. I have provided the link. https://www.mayoclinichealthsystem.org/

Hi Dave. Thank you for the links, but none of the Drs. are near the Denver are. There was a Dr. that train at Mayo in General Internal Medicine and works in Boulder, but she isn’t taking new patients. I’ve been on a 3 year wait list to get in. I asked if she could refer me someone to see, and this was through her nurse. She gave me a name, and I did go to see her, but she couldn’t help, and told me to go to Mayo. I called the original Dr. back, still on wait list, after I explained my situation, she, the Dr. that trained at Mayo, then told me to try Mayo. I wish there was Dr. in my area, on that link.
I’ve searched both, and none at all near Denver.
