Some advice from this group would be helpful. My neuropathy has been active and progressing now for 4 years. My feet feel like bags of sand and the neuropathy is progressing up the outside of my legs. My doctor insists it is diabetic, but my A1C has always been around 6. I think the neuropathy is caused by my neural foramen stenosis. Is there a test or a scan that is definitive?

@dunkinmacdougall -- Since neural foraminal stenosis is a type of spinal stenosis I think the tests are the same and the doctors evaluate based on X-rays, MRIs or CT according to Mayo Clinic - https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/spinal-stenosis/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20352966

Have you heard of Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR)? There is a discussion on the topic you might find helpful.
