@Chis. How long did you take Anastrozole? The full 5 years. I’m coming up on 2 years. I was having hip/groin pain & my hands would go to sleep, but I could make it quit if I moved my head/neck snd stretch the muscles. I’m the type of person to let my body tell me what’s going on, I listen! I stopped my Anastrozole for 28 days. I started physical therapy for my neck. With PT exercise are helping. There us quite a difference. I started taking my Anastrozole again Day 2 … do we will see. Weight gain was not an issue for me as I was consistently the same weight. Up 1 lb down 1 pound. Sometimes up 2 lbs 🤷‍♀️ Down 1 lb. 😊
I’m just trying to figure out what this medicine is doing to my body. MY BODY The doctors prescribe this medicine as a 1 size fits all. I personally do not believe it should be, but that is the way doctors treat us. But that is a whole different discussion. Bottom line is . . I’m working on me.

I was on AI for ten or more years total, some on tamoxifen and some on anastrazole. The problem with tamoxifen was that I could not take my normal antidepressant while on it. No one who has to be around me wanted me off of that. 😂😂 my brother calls them my nice pills. I did have joint and muscle stiffness and soreness, and I still do a couple of years later. I blame it on the accelerated aging from a lack of estrogen, but I never had tingling in my hands. When your hands tingle are you sitting quietly or sleeping, or are you were active? Did you take chemotherapy?
