Iron or hemoglobin? Value sounds like hemoglobin as that is part of the screening , normal I believe is 16 to 18 , I suggest you have your Iron checked and start counter measures before you become anemic

You are right it is the hemoglobin levels that they screen for. My numbers are in the normal range, however it is not in the range acceptable for blood donation.
