Hi @lisa12
I recently purchased Merino shoes online. They are made of wool and are so lightweight that a pair weighs less than a pound. They keep your feet cool in the Summer and warm in the Winter. I wear them without socks. They come in lace up or slip on. For extra toe room I ordered men’s (they recommend that on their website because women’s wide sells out quickly). They come in many colors. They are made in California. Search “Merino Shoes” to order. I love the way they feel on my feet. They are stretchy and soothing to my achy/burning toes and feet. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. They are expensive but have sales on them. When I think about how much money I have wasted on uncomfortable shoes the price is worth it.

Hi, Thank you for this information! I am going to look for these. I like the lightweight shoes too. I spent alot on hiking boots and I don't like to wear them as they are so heavy.

I would like to add that when ordering Merino shoes… if a woman orders men’s shoes for more toe room you need to go down one size.
