Yes, I am. She has stuck by me through all the bad times. I am truly very lucky.
Okay, here is what happened. I called the Garfield County Social Services. I live in Garfield County. I got a recording which said that I
was suppose to call another number. I called the second number where I got another recording and was put on hold foe thirty minutes. That is where I talked to the guy that told me that told me to call 9-1-1. This is the kind of run around that I have got for twenty years. .You see, there is one thing that I am kind of scared of - What happens if an ambulance takes me to the hospital, but will o bring me bacl home

@okwrangler. I'm 86 years old, and the doctors tell me because of my serious health issues, I'm not able to have surgery anymore. Not even a colonoscopy, which I desperately need right now to sort out my IBS. OK, I accept that. It is what it is. I still get excellent care from all SEVEN of my specialists. (One for almost every part of my body because I have so many serious conditions.) To get along with the medical world, it's necessary to be pleasant and easy to get along with. No whining, no complaints about the system, maybe try medication for a while, (it sometimes makes us all crazy but sometimes it's very necessary), etc. It's important to listen to a doctor's ideas for your case, to try their ideas rather than "leaving the hospital because you thought you were in the stroke therapy department" or whatever it was you told us initially. You finally got admitted to hospital and you left! There are social workers, physiotherapists, dieticians - all sorts of experts in a hospital. Request to see them when you're in the hospital. If you go by ambulance, they will be aware of your lack of mobility. They can't desert you, and would need to ambulance you back home if you're not admitted. That's what happens with me, either an ambulance or "medi-vac", and both are equipped with stretchers. @jakedduck1 has good advice for you, too. You gotta grab the cat by the tail, Wrangler!
