@okwrangler you are very blessed to have such a supportive wife! When you call social services, be sure to call the office in your town, not the state. If they give you the answer to call 911, then call ! They have people who can help you up and then take you to the hospital. @jakedduck1 is very experienced in asking for their help! Slowly but surely, you are moving ahead; being an advocate for yourself.
Also Medicaid provides health insurance which you may need as you go forward.

Yes, I am. She has stuck by me through all the bad times. I am truly very lucky.
Okay, here is what happened. I called the Garfield County Social Services. I live in Garfield County. I got a recording which said that I
was suppose to call another number. I called the second number where I got another recording and was put on hold foe thirty minutes. That is where I talked to the guy that told me that told me to call 9-1-1. This is the kind of run around that I have got for twenty years. .You see, there is one thing that I am kind of scared of - What happens if an ambulance takes me to the hospital, but will o bring me bacl home
