@klpetts Hola, mi padre recibió hace un mes su primera infusión con lutathera. Mi padre tiene NET primario en apéndice con metástasis a hígado y después de la infusión ha presentado muchas crisis carcinoides. Nuestros médicos no saben mucho del tema ya que aquí en México es muy raro. ¿Cómo le ha ido a usted con esta terapia? Usted presentó en algún momento el síndrome carcinoide luego de la terapía? y si es así ¿qué tratamiento le daban para los síntomas? Es bueno saber que a usted le ha ido bien. Saludos

Hello @marifersitacastro and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! I appreciate you posting on behalf of your father who has NETs. Until @klpetts responds to your post about her experience with PRRT therapy I wanted to get to know you a bit better. How is your dad feeling with the PRRT therapy?

You say that your dad had a primary NET in his appendix with metastasis to his liver. What other surgeries or treatments has he tried? I'm sure he had surgery to remove the appendix, any other surgeries or treatments?

I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Will you post again?

While on the PRRT my tumors responded well to the treatment plan. Unfortunately several months later it stopped working for me and am now on a different treatment plan.
