Has anyone experienced internal vibrations?

I have these internal tremors like an electric sensation for almost 2 months. at first they were only in the chest ... but over time or moved throughout the body (including the tongue). I feel them 24/7 but only when I stay. they appeared to me after an emotional shock and 4 months of insomnia (2-3 hours at night).

I did neuro control including emg, MRI on the head and spine but everything was ok. just the beginning of a cervical problem.

The neurologist, when I told him about the symptoms, didn't believe me, he just told me at the end that he thought it was because of the stress. I followed a treatment with citalopram for 3 weeks, I eliminated from stress but I did not see any improvement, the symptoms worsened. I haven't been taking my antidepressant for 1 week, but the symptoms seem to be getting worse.

Suggestions?

@novajeff how you feel now? are better?

(sorry for my english)

Sorry you are going through this. I am “better” than a year ago but by no means all better and back to normal. Woke up with buzzing legs again this morning and couldn’t sleep. Had a feeling it would be a bad night because yesterday afternoon I noticed it in my arms, hands, throat and tongue.

Comes and goes in waves now, getting worse every week or two before getting better again.

Hoping one day I make progress and it all goes away.

Hope you can find some relief soon.
