Wow, I am thrilled to see so many remarks made to me for my Bursitis questions. Thank you all so very much. I am getting myself off of taking the Lyrica as it is not helping me anymore. My Dr. said it is for nerve pain. I am still in so much pain and nothing has been done for me. My shoulder gets stabbing pains periodically and my muscle seems to be coming back but is still really very painful and I can't use this arm for lifting or using it for much of anything. I am at my wits end and am considering changing Doctors, although I really don't want to do this. Any suggestions anyone?

I have MCTD and all my EMG tests are negative, but I still have pain. Apparently, one's muscles tense up, causing the pain in the area. Tendons get annoyed, too. Request images and a referral to PT. You should improve your sitting ergonomics and there are exercises to stretch/loosen muscle tightness/strengthen your shoulders and from there, the pain should drop off. Magnesium, hydration, ice/heat, CBD ointment and periodic movement can make a real difference. Dr Jo is quite good, but skip the first exercise. https://www.google.com/search?q=dr+jo+10+rotator+cuff+exercises&oq=dr+jo+rotato&aqs=edge.3.0i512j69i57j0i512j0i22i30j69i64.6531j0j1&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#kpvalbx=_pfjlYZC9CfPJkPIPpbK0UA25
