What's your experience with Vertiflex Superion Implant?

I had the procedure 24 days ago. So far so good. I needed relief from very bad pain at L4-L5. Procedure is quick. They aren't kidding when they say 6-8 weeks of limited bending or weight carrying. Be prepared to do what they say. I have experienced very substantial pain relief. I carry a cane just in case but I probably don't need it. I walk slowly getting my gait and confidence back a little at a time. Start PT tomorrow. My right leg still goes dead sometimes. I hope that improves. All in all, don't be afraid to get this procedure.

Hello @pokerplayer1 and welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Thank you for joining this discussion to share your recent experience with the vertiflex superion implant procedure and the success you've felt it has been so far.

What does your PT regimen and frequency look like for you?

Was this recommended by your Ortho or Pain Dr.? My Ortho, expectedly, was not a fan of this.
