Hello,I’m new here! For the past year and a half have been on Pravastatin 20 mg.
8 months ago started having tingling in my toes and fingers. With some pricks and itching . All test were negative including those for neuropathies. Symptoms aren’t worse. Was off the statin for a month and there was no change. My Dr. Says no relation between statin and my symptoms. Any advise? Thank you!

Hello @interest, Welcome to Connect, an online community where patients and caregivers share their experiences, find support and exchange information with others. I shared some references in an earlier post here you may find helpful when discussing your symptoms with your doctor - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/comment/100046/

I had the discussion with my doctor about simvastatin because I already have neuropathy and didn't want to make it any worse even if it may be a small possibility. I said I would make some lifestyle changes to lower my cholesterol numbers and the doctor was OK with that. Here are a few tips from Mayo Clinic to improve your cholesterol.

Are you able to share a little more information about your diagnosis and why the Pravastatin was prescribed?
