What's outside of your picture window today?

Posted by John, Volunteer Mentor @johnbishop, Nov 25, 2020

As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?

For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

@artist01 @ess77 @jakedduck1 What’s for breakfast today? Cattails and aquatic weeds. Caught this young doe yearling in the middle of a munch. Water still dribbling off her chin whiskers. ☺️

Well I just saw this and had to laugh because I was trying to look out our picture window ~ all steamed up when I opened the curtains at 5am!

@ess77, You mentioned your orchid is in full bloom outside and you want to share a photo from your phone but it didn't go, and you are trying to figure out why. I'm not sure what kind of phone you have. I have an iPhone so will add some steps to the message to show you how I add photos to a post. Stay tuned!

My new tree stump planter!

They look like sunflowers. Are they Gaillardias? Great idea. Beautiful flowers! I have the Arizona Blanket Sunflower which has bloomed all year for us here in Florida. I also planted the regular sunflowers….food for the birds for later 😃. I hope to attract more birds in the fall.

Nice you are able to garden! I always like adding color to the yard. I am still expanding mine. Makes you want to go outside to admire its beauty and visitors.

@avmcbellar, @johnbishop I don't think they're marigolds, but I can't remember the proper name for them. I'm your UnGardener! Lol
