Has anyone had a tight band feeling after total knee replacement?

I had my FNR 8 years ago and still have that very tight feeling. Sometimes its so tight I don't want to walk on it just in case, but it does ease off. Its a hot day today and I am using my walking stick as its very tight and uncomfortable.

Thank you for sharing your knee replacement experience. Besides walking do you do any stretching or other exercises for your knee and legs?
