I was iron deficient when I got the vaccine. It's because I am recovering from anemia after being diagnosed with celiac disease but my levels were climbing.I didn't know about needing optimal iron levels for the vaccine and no one told me either. My ferratin, hemoglobin and iron have all dropped even lower than they were when I was diagnosed over 3 years ago! I am trying to see a doctor to get an iron shot.Supplements will take forever and I am sick of being tired! I sure hope this will be the end of the anemia!
If there is quite a bit of information on not having the vaccine if you have iron deficiency why is this not mentioned before they jab you ? Especially if you are a blood donor as it takes 25-30 weeks to fully restore iron levels after each donation.
Vaccinated with Covid 19 Bivalent booster months ago, was in excellent health before vaccine. I noticed Fatigue at first, then extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, racing heart rate, to name a few of my most serious symptoms. I had not seen a doctor in nine years, I had blood work done my hemoglobin level was 6.5. When I went in for the blood transfusion 4 days later my hemoglobin was 6.3. The doctors think I lost blood, but my RBC was in normal range, somehow the vaccine caused my anemia.
I had a friend who long ago got a peptic ulcer from xpili bacteria and he said he was near death.I thought I had a wheat allergy and my dr simply nodded his head that it was possible.I was able to eat fried rice until I had difficulty digesting the fried rice.I thought of my buddy and his peptic ulcer and found flagyl is the go to antibiotic.I got the nurse practitioner to prescribe flagyl and it has helped. I may consult a hematologist? I am also going to continue taking flagyl until I run out of pills.
Yes. My husband has never had any history of anemia or low iron. He received the Pfizer vaccine in March. He began feeling more tired over the next two months. He saw his physician and she suspected some type of internal bleeding based on the blood test, He had an upper and lower endoscopy. No internal bleeding was found. They are going to try the camera endoscopy next week. We don't think this is going to reveal anything. His iron, ferritin and red blood cell count is extremely low. The only change in has been receiving the vaccine. He had normal blood work in January. Thanks
