As a retired registered nurse I highly doubt there is any relationship between y our back and your dermal carcinoma. As for your back, ouch! My lumbar spine is like yours but not congenital. Your cervical spine does not sound like it's in great shape. I presume you have a great deal of pain and associated symptomology in your upper body?

Yes I have a fair bit of pain... It is more the never-ending nature of it that bothers me. That and the fact that I am only 65 and the prospect of living with this is daunting. My neurologist just called today and referred me to a neurosurgeon. Not sure what I expect them to be able to do, but I will probably wait until after my melanoma surgery on June 18.
