Hi @harley52, I've added your post to the Men's Health group (https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/mens-health-1/) as rising PSA levels are often discussed in this group. Prostate cancer is not the only cause of rising PSA levels. Here's a good article that explains other potential causes such as age, prostatitis, certain medical procedures, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), urinary tract infection, and others.

- What a High PSA Level Means if It’s Not Prostate Cancer https://www.everydayhealth.com/prostate-cancer/non-cancerous-reasons-your-psa-levels-are-high.aspx

If cancer has been ruled out, has you doctor tested for any of the other possible causes?

I have tried to get my urologist to test my cortisol and estregen levels . He refuses. I also asked if he would put me on fenasteride to bring my numbers down . He refuses. All he wants to do is send me for more $3000 or more proceedures. I am about done with the whole mess.
