On to what you came here for. Can you share with me if you are experiencing burning in your throat and nausea like members in this discussion are talking about or is just the phlegm?

My condition is "like" a lump or phlegm which I can not bring up.
It seems to go away when I go to sleep and then when I start to move around in the morning the "lump" comes back. Sometimes when I am outside -- in the wind-- I feel like the throat might close up.
This condition started a short time after neck cervical surgery--maybe the breathing tube damaged the throat ? Maybe there is nerve damage. Is an MRI the next step?
