Aren't they? I guess unless you live in their roaming area and they get hungrey! I have several friends who spread urine in the yard around their flowers to keep away the deer...hope someone makes unscented urine!

@merpreb Unless they eat your roses! Or tuck into the budding cherry tree! My one bright yellow rose bush is tucked between lavender plants; deer do not like the strong smell. The fiesta, red velvet and salmon roses are fair game.
