Elizabeth, sure hope your Mayo appointment goes well tomorrow.

I found this beauty growing in a ditch on my walk today. I have walked this path many times before at this time of year, however never saw a magnolia tree.
It sure lifted my spirits on a grey, cloudy day!

But I thought you are in Duluth??? Is there more climate change than I realized, or is it "lake effect" - supposedly they can grow here in the Twin Cities, but I don't have a protected spot...
I'll walk today between (very welcome) rain showers - too warm and humid to put on a rain jacket.
