@windwalker, Terri .. and all, you may see Dr Aksamit in person but I doubt you can possibly feel his tremendous personal caring and warmth from the podium .. I feel it in his hugs .. just love that man! If anyone gets a chance to see him personally or chat with him .. you can tell him PERSOALLY that your "Mayo Clinic Connect Mentor Katherine" thinks he "walks on water" .. AND that she is only missing this event because of her granddaughter's college graduation! I think he will get a chuckle out of that! Hugs to all! Katherine
Folks....when you register for the Washington DC conference....could you ask if they are videoing it ?? To be shown to the public in the future?many thanks terriD

I will tell him if I can get near him. I used to go to the Alpha-1
conferences and other lung conferences in the past and was able to speak to some
of the guest speakers at the end of the program. So, maybe...

Terri, there is a phone number on that conference site. You can call or
e-mail and ask them if it will be video recorded.

This is Pamela - conference will be videotaped and ALL of the lectures will be available online about 2 months after May 19th. I have registered and will be going. We hear everyone speak as the lectures go one after the other, throughout the day - everyone is together in one auditorium. Pamela
Pamela...thanks Sooooo much for the info that the May NTM Washington DC Conference will be video taped and posted for Public viewing.
I was able to attend the National workshop on NTM in Denver from National Jewish Health in sept 2016 ....thanks to the MAC group telling me about it. It was awesome( see videos of it and same from 2015)
What I discovered as I rewatched the videos of the workshop that I had attended. It was if I was hearing it all for first time!!!
So for those of us unable to attend Conference in May...i am thinking we will get great benefit also from watching Videos 2 months later.TerriD
