Hi. Ok. Sorta did get the reply, Katherine. Haha. Anyway, excited to have just gotten an appointment with Dr. Leventhal at Mayo Florida in February. Looking forward to it!

maryjo2sell, Maryjo, that is SO great that you got that appointment! Please keep us posted .. he is supposed to be GOOD! Don't forget to have a copy of your records to take with you .. AND a list of questions! Hugs! Katherine

Colleen is SO much more techie than I am .. here is what she said .. hope that helps more!
PER COLLEEN
I just want to step in and clarify the reply functionality.
1. Reply by email: When you choose to reply by email, your response is uploaded to the forum directly below the message to which you are replying.
2. VIEW & REPLY: Clicking the View & Reply button in the email notices will take you directly to the message in the email. However, because this discussion is over 2000 messages long, it takes a few minutes to re-direct you from the top of the thread to the specific message. I find I typically have to wait 3-6 seconds before I'm taken directly to the message, depending on the strength of the internet or data connection that I have.
The email notifications truncate long messages. So if someone has written a detailed message, you may not see all of it in the email notice. I prefer to use the View & Reply button because then I can see the messages the come before or after the message that I plan to respond to. It gives me the full context of the conversation. Just my preference though.

Yay! You are seeing my doctor! I just love that man. I will be at the
Mayo Feb 7. If you are too; maybe we can meet. -Terri M.

Sorry. Not at same time. A little later. But anxious to meet him. I have a wonderful Doctor, but he is in North Carolina. I want a closer medical center than Duke

Good! He is really good at explaining things to you and sharing the x-rays,
scans, etc. If he doesn't offer, ask, he can pull any of your test results up on
his computer and discuss it with you. I hope you like him as much as I do. He
has been a life-saver for me. -Terri M.

Thank you so very much. I have an appointment with your doctor on March 1.

@maryjo2sell, @windwalker, it is ALWAYS a good idea to ask for a copy of your various reports for your personal file .. at least in the state of Minnesota medical records are only required to be kept for SEVEN YEARS ONLY! https://www.healthit.gov/sites/default/files/appa7-1.pdf

Personally I have been requesting medical records .. doctor notes, medical testing of all kinds for at least the past ten years. I learned the hard way when I had an Internist who I really liked .. did NOT do my 'due diligence' ending in 2001 because I thought I'd be with her forever. She left and I had a HORRIBLE time getting any records from her previous employer. Lesson learned. PLUS by getting copies I learn various things I did NOT catch during the meeting with the doctor. Just my thoughts and opinion. Hugs! Katherine

Donna, which doctor .. name? Katherine

Hi! Are you talking about Dr. Leventhal?
