What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)

Outside my front door- Peartree
Beautiful, Merry!
This is looking from my front deck. This year has been spectacular!
Lovely tree, @merpreb Love it! Not quite my front window, but a block away. Napa welcoming the day! Cheers to all!
It’s such a gorgeous time of the year with all the blossoms. Do you get a good harvest of pears? We used to have 2 huge old trees. The pears were so delicious. But keeping up with the harvest was tough. Made every pear recipe you could think of, along with canning. 😉
What a glorious picture, Scott! Such a peaceful start to the day. Thank you for sharing! Give Napa a belly rub from me. 😊
I can sometimes hear the ocean. we live about 7 minutes as the crow flies from the ocean or bay. I love this photo, esp with the pup. We are losing so much beach due to erosion. Pretty soon it will be another vision altogether!
I bet that you take lots of walks there!
Will do @loribmt
No pears, only really tiny thingies. One Christmas as a "runner" for the table I cut branches that had tiny little pears. It was gorgeous. We tried planting it somewhere else at first but it didn't do anything. Then Dave just dug it up and stuck it between 2 evergreens. Then after one of the evergreens was taken it really took off. I love pears. I bet your recipes were yummy.
Three times a day, @merpreb Napa insists the lake has far better water than the stuff I keep in her bowl in the house! Plus she knows I frown on her swimming in her water bowl 🙂
