@rwinney Hello, Rachel. I think you hit on what's been going on with me for decades! I read this last nite, went to bed at 3am. I spent hours on-line researching central sensitization and it fits my situation to a tee. Amazing.....I watched the PRC Sletten YouTube about this and the several grads discussing their growth and improvement. I know something about the PRC and it is so helpful for so many. I;ve heard of focus on cognitive thinking, but somehow not on central sensitization as a cause. Now, Rachael, this makes sense and also makes sense that working on cognitive thinking helps.
I've been working through these thought processes now for several years. I've written on fibro and chronic pain and another group about my experiences and illnesses. I've come close it seems to your thinking and my improvement seems to uphold this.
I do think a lot of folks who are in such a state of pain and confusion are where you were and I was. I'm continuing my research in this and must learn more to go forward. I will not spend the rest of my life without joy and peace and understanding. It's coming......thanks, my friend. Connect has been and is a huge part in my improvements. So thankful.....blessings to you on this journey. elizabeth
