@lacy2 Thank you for your reply. A really very loud alarm clock is what I need. My Panasonic
specialty amplified hearing impaired feature laden landline, with the volume set at the highest level, still wakes me — just need a clock that can do the same.

You may want to look at the Diglo catalogue. This is the former Harris Communications catalogue. Many of the alarm clocks used by people with hearing loss use vibrations rather than sound. Some even use vibrating watches around their ankles. Kids seem to like that method.
