@rosemarya, @Erinmfs, @lioness @wyngnit, @fiesty76 and everyone...I, too, have the plumber coming for a quote and chat about finishing the redo of my bathrooms! Hopefully, in 2 days.....will finally get them finished. Been working on them for 100 years!

I have a couple boys coming to help me with planting a few border plants, rocky ropes?????, a light green in front of darker green leaf liriope. Used to always plant full beds of red/white mixed petunias or vincas or similar flowering plants, but can't do it anymore, or keep them looking good. So, these are perineal succulents and with mulching will look ok. Not great, but ok.

Also, having them repot pots and baskets for the patio and front. General cleaning up.....

Wish I could plant bulbs. Don't do well in sandy, hot Florida....I'm a bit jealous of you, @rosemarya, to have bulbs from your grandfather! That's special...

Well, enough for now. Blessings all. elizabeth

@ess77, My neighbor used to have a bed filled with red/white mixed petunias and they always brought smiles to all who saw them!

I'm new to planting succulents and can't remember the names of the three that have returned 2 yrs in a row but so glad to have them because of low maintenance required!

Glad you have helpers coming to add some border plants and to also repot your baskets and pots. Saw an article on Utube about how to "revitalize" older potting soil but was reading about dahlias and forgot to go back for that article. If I find it, I'll send along the tips. I usually just mix my older mix with new amendments and hope they add a bit of fluffiness to my hard clay garden soil.

I'm adding more and more bulbs to my beds because they return and can be used for diff. seasons. In FL, you probably have success with more of the tropical plants that just won't make it in my arid climate.
