skin pain at night

Posted by celeste @celeste, Oct 28, 2011

I was recently diagnosed with 3 bulging lumbar disks, mild spinal stenosis and arthritis in my right hip, I wake up quite often with severe shin pain that makes impossible to sleep. I have been to 2 doctors one says its because of my back and another says it's hip pain. Anyone have any ideas

I have had good luck with a Lumbar Epidural Steriod injection which seemed to help both my lower back and hip pain and I was able to sleep at night. I was given this shot by a Anesthesiologist at a pain management clinic

My wife has problems with lower back, hips and legs hurting also. Ortho DR says she has very bad vertebraes in her lower back. This will cause your hips and legs to hurt from the nerves in back being rubbed.
