Thank you much for your suggestion, will mention it to myDr on next visit. Sometimes I do feel as if there were bacteria somewhere. I did see a nutritionist for a while for as long as the insurance allowed. I will also ask for this gastric emptying test even if I have to pay out of pocket.
im new to this but i have chronic stomach aches to i eat my foods puree way cause of it but mine is the opposite i have the dumping syndrome does anyone know anything about that problem i also have ibs and acid reflux im so glad i am in a group
I used to have IBS. When bouts occured I would be very careful what I ate and things would clear. Then it went haywire and nothing helped. Then I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I'm off gluten. I don't eat most packaged foods. It's one of the best things to ever happen to me. Good luck, whatever you find.
thank you, my blood test was negative for Celiac, but I seem to have all the symptoms so Im ging to try a week off of wheat and gluten to see what happens will let you know
Jennifer, I dont know what the dumping symdrome is but for the IBS I can recommend eater a light dinner no later than 6:30. avooid spices, drink peppermint tea, no caffein, no lactaid hope it helps
you might have gastroparesis like i do. I was just diagnosed with it . You need to have a gastric emptying test which is not done at a community hospital.I just started on 250 mg. of erythromycin and a low residue low fat diet. I am seeing a nutritionist in 2 weeks. Good luck to you. I was being erroneously treated for gerd for 4 months and very sick.So glad to have a diagnosis.
