Ativan, Xanax, Klonopin, Valium ....
Beta-blockers are some times used. There is also exposure therapy.
These medications, the benzo's can be addicting so just explore all your options with your doctors to ensure that you're getting the most appropriate treatment.

Medication is helpful, but I strongly believe that its a last resort. Try holistic therapies like meditation and guided imagery. Seeing a counseller who utilizes these techniques and specializes in anxiety and depression would probably be very helpful for you. Meditation and guided imagery are also good coping skills.
