Hi Eric - I would encourage you, if you can't find a solution that succesfully ameliorates her pain, to check out the Mayo Clinic Pain Rehabilitation Center. It's for people with any kind of chronic pain, and it sounds like your mother has been dealing with a good deal of that for years. Best of luck!
