Diverticulitis and Pancreatitis

I hope I spelled these correctly. I was diagnosed, today, with both. I know absolutely NOTHING about either. Anything you can provide would be much appreciated.

Hello @kitten92

I appreciate your post regarding these new diagnoses, I can understand your concerns. It can seem overwhelming, can' it?

I would like to direct you to a link https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/diverticulitis-1/. Here you will find Members who are also dealing with diverticulitis. I'd like to introduce you to a few others on Connect who have talked about diverticulosis, like @nanny23 @musicflowers4u @1942daa @lauriefrancis and @darlia, in hopes they can share about their experience with this condition.

Here is some information from Mayo's website about what diverticulitis is and how it is treated, https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/diverticulitis/symptoms-causes/syc-20371758.

Regarding the Pancreatitis, I would like to invite Gary, @gman007, to discuss this with you. He also has had this diagnosis and would be glad to share with you.

@kitten92, could you share with us, as you are comfortable doing so, what symptoms are the most difficult for you to deal with right now? Also, what treatments and/or suggestions has your doctor suggested?

Teresa
