That is so good to hear, @jayjjj! Thank you for letting the community know.
I'd like to introduce you to @concernedmtnmom @coffeelatte @saucy @poppy73 @clemlaa, as they have written about the elimination method and/or fructose malabsorption; I hope they will share their insights with you as well.
Do you find the diet to be quite restrictive? How do you decide which foods to exclude?
I'd like to start a discussion on fructose malabsorption, how to control it, what to eat and not eat, etc. . Is anybody interested?

Hello @jayjjj and welcome to Mayo Connect!
I am sorry to hear of your fructose malabsorption and lactose intolerance. That certainly makes eating more difficult, doesn't it? I also have lactose intolerance and it does take a lot of trial and error to find out how much of a dairy product I can eat without having symptoms.
I did a little research on the internet and found some articles about the fructose malabsorption, https://www.mayoclinic.org/fructose-intolerance/expert-answers/FAQ-20058097 and http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0002822306017044. As you read these you might get some ideas.
As this is your first post, we would enjoy getting to know you better. If you are comfortable sharing more about yourself could you tell us, how these problems were first diagnosed? Were you seeing a gastroenterologist or other health practitioner? Did your doctor offer you any diet recommendations?
As we share our experiences, we all learn from each other!
