After sustaining a spinal cord injury (SCI), therapy consists of stretching, moving the joints, splint use, functional electrical stimulation. Although these therapies may not restore function or permit severely injured nerves to heal, they can help maintain a a flexible upper limb which may benefit from reconstructive surgery to restore function.

Is there a time limit post Spinal cord injury in which this will help?

Could you comment more on functional electrical stimulation

What do you mean by “reconstructive surgery “?
