How do I view discussions. We have been trying to get access for ten minutes and although I have pre registered nothing is coming up to view this video presentation. Are you having difficulties with the webcast? This is very frustrating......
Hi @rosemarya,
Great question! I will post it during the Video Q&A, but briefly, here's what research online states:
– The Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy – often called the gastric sleeve – is performed by removing approximately 80 percent of the stomach. The remaining stomach is a tubular pouch that resembles a banana.
– Endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty is a newer type of weight-loss procedure which offers similar weight loss to the established surgical procedures but with lower risk. It's a minimally invasive procedure that does not involve any cutting of the stomach so there are no scars and recovery time is short.
