I have a 40 year old daughter born with AVSD and she did great for 39 years after repair at 9 mos. Then at 39 she develop endocarditis and ended up with a mechanical valve after nearly dying. Now, fear and stress are at very high level. Any recommendations or thoughts?

I also was born with AVSD and have a mechanical mitral valve following endocarditis. I am 35 and live in Michigan. Would you be interested in talking? My valve replacement surgery was at Mayo Clinic in 2007
