Not sure on that, but if it were me, I would be looking for a new doctor! My doctor is very thorough to address my questions and concerns. I would try to ask them again and communicate that you want an answer and if they can't follow up with you that you will be looking for another provider that is a better fit for you. You're not trying to be ornery with them, but if you politely say it like that they may reconsider and take it more seriously. And if they don't then you truly do need a new provider.
