I came in 5 minutes late, and thus missed part of the discussion. As a recipient, I really was amazed by the attention to details that is necessary for organ donation. Dr. Raman Mahabir and Dr. Winston Hewitt both demonstrated their respect and concern for the wellbeing of both the donor and the patient. For me, that is a powerful testimony to the beauty of organ transplant. Rosemary

Some of my immediate family members asked me about the possibility of living liver donation. I was too sick at that point, and there wasn't enough time. I will always cherish that they were willing to do that for me.
