Hello Jake, I am Sunnyflower. I haven't seen you here before. I think I joined last Spring, but wasn't active until last August?? My memory is shot, a lot b/c of Gabapentin. Wow you've really been through it!!!!! I can't believe what you suffered but the miracle that your pain got much better is just amazing! I'm so happy for you!!! It sounds like the numbness that caused or causes you to occasionally fall down, sounds a lot like propioception to me. My Neurologist told me I have that myself! I didn't even know it, but was explaining my balance problems and she said that when she used the tunning fork on my that I didn't feel it on my lower legs and feet! Why don't they tell us these things when they do them in the office I wonder? It's like when they take your blood pressure of any other vital signs, I find I have to ask them what the readings were b/c they certainlyy won't offer it! Take good care and warmest regards, Sunnyflower @rwinney
Well, hello! @jakedduck1 I appreciate you writing and thank you for such kind words. I admire you too Jake. I know, you sir, have been through it. And I'm so happy that your neuropathy pain subsided. The numbness however, is no joke. 🙁
Bread...Lol! Cant help myself, so much of my diet revolves around bread. Not too sure about adding more sugar to it though but, go for what you know!!
I've actually been accepted to the Mayo Rehabilitation Center. I begin the program tomorrow. I'm super excited to let them have at me!
Be well,
Rachel
