@jakedduck1 My mother loved See's vanilla creams, and Hershey's milk chocolate with almonds. She had a bar of that every night. If you wanted to get on her good side you got her a pound of Week's. My sister is a chocoholic, and wants the fanciest around. I myself do not like it [Good thing since it is not allowed on renal diet!]. On another note, we will get to see My. Shasta on Wed as we pass by on way to new home!

I bet your Mom liked the the buttercreams of yesteryear too. They were much better than the vanilla creams of today. My dad remembered when their candy sold for 50 cents a pound. Almost $22.00 now.
The mountain probably won’t be very impressive now, not sure if any snow is left. In the summer it looks like a giant dirt clod.
