@grandmar so enjoyed reading your spotlight!!! I cried reading it. And you are so correct that it is much easier opening up to people you don't know.. I have a great family, very supportive and love them dearly. But I know there is a lot they don't understand and it's hard for them to relate. Sometimes I think they think that they understand,. but just to give one example. I started out having a bad day and said to my boyfriend this morning, I am having a very hard time breathing today. He immediately said " I know! Me too! I walked in the barn and it was all closed up and stuffie ! I know he means well and I love him but!! Connecting with people who really understand what your going through is a gift. God bless you and this web site🙂🙂🙂

You touch me! I am glad you enjoyed my Spotlight!
Be patient with your boyfriend.
Sometimes our loved ones do understand, but they just don't know what to say when we are feeling poorly.
It is not uncommon for them to relate the feeling to themselves.
I believe it is a way for them to hide the pain they feel for us.
I am glad you have such a loving support system!

Enjoy your weekend!
