When it pertains to Leukemia, there are a multitude of treatment options:
- Chemotherapy
- Biological therapy
- Targeted therapy
- Radiation therapy
- Stem cell transplant
Each has its benefits and side-effects and which treatment is used is typically determined by a hematologist/oncologist depending on the stage of the cancer and/or what treatments have been used previously.
