Some. A little bit disappointed because the trial sent the signal in a 360 degree pattern, the implant is much more focused and I think it's not in the EXACT same place as the trial was. It's kind of stupid because the permanent implant should replicate the trial, and I know it's not. The trial gave me 80% relief which was almost unbelievable! The implant now reduces my pain maybe 30-40% - which the company considers a success. I know it could be better.

I'm sorry that you didn't get the 80% with the permanent one. Which SCS did you have implanted?

Did the same doctor do the trial and the permanent SCS? If not, perhaps the leads weren't placed in the same position.

I’ve read this several times now that the trial works better than the permanent. That has me worried.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the nevro unit. (the latest is the HFX iQ) Which model do you have? Sorry to hear that the real implant didn't perform as well as the trial. Its now about two and a half years since you first posted, so how much relief are you getting now?? Finally, have you had to get any spinal MRI's with the nevro in place? I am seeing mixed comments on the web re whether or not you can get an MRI with these in place. --Rich in Santa Rosa, CA.
