@rosemarya @hopeful33250 The one symptom I forgot to mention was excruciating cramps in my thighs. They started a couple of years before the symptoms that led to a diagnosis and were incredibly horrible. I googled to try to find the cause and found other people who had similar cramps but no one had discovered a cause for them. After I had a diagnosis and things progressed, I started getting cramps in more typical places, but none were like the ones in my thighs. There were unbearable, but when I came to realize they only lasted about 10 - 15 minutes I could deal with them. My husband wanted to help and rub my leg or something but they were so painful I didn't want to be touched.
Actually, all of the cramps -- feet, calves, and hands too, are typical when a person has cirrhosis.

How interesting. I would never have guessed that would be a symptom of cirrhosis. Thanks for that tidbit of information.

@contentandwell Thank you for that insight. I get terrific cramps in my thighs, and will bring it to the Dr's attention at next appt.
