Tips from Dr. Donald Hensrud

"Adults living along may eat the same thing over and over again because it's easy, or lose interest in cooking and eating for one.  So they end up on a 'cookies and milk' diet.  Having a broad spectrum of healthier choices available often helps nudge people to eat better.  The basics of not smoking, physical activity, eating a healthy diet, and managing weight, those four factors can affect health more than any other factors."  -- Donald Hensrud, M.D., Preventative Medicine Physician at Mayo Clinic's Rochester campus

Dr. Hensrud,

So true - I try to have several different colors on my plate with each meal. It makes a difference in how I feel.
