Hello from Ontario Canada. I haven't read the above book,
but I bought a book 2016 after taking a Quinolone drug, NORFLOX, for bladder infection and 2 weeks later got peripheral neuropathy for life.
Title is "BITTER PILLS" INSIDE THE HAZARDOUS WORLD OF LEGAL DRUGS, author Stephen Fried. His wife took ONE of a similar pill to me.
I read the first sixty pages or so and although don't usually write in books was so upset I have underlined and made some notes first 60 pages, but the book is clean from smoke free home I bought on amazon.ca, and if anyone would like it I can mail it to them...it actually is about the FDA and not where I am, Health Canada, but very enlightening and frightening. It's quite a heavy book over 400 pages written by a reporter and took five years of research. If anyone wants it no charge just pm me... will have to give your address of course and i will give mine....but can address to "resident" to mail, if no one interested will put it in with my Spring clear out box for charity. His wife also took a strong pill as I did for a simple UTI with disastrous effects... all true, not fiction.
