Thank you. I greatly appreciate the warnings. I was not aware of the dangers and will now use Volteran very cautiously. I agree with your analysis that it does not make sense to use any medications that increase one's risk of health problems as contrasted to benefits.

Additionally, Volteran Gel is available as a patch that provides 12 hours of area specific relief. It works much better that the gel alone but requires prescription from your doc.

As long as you measure out the correct dosage by using the dosage card includ3d in the box, you should be okay. Also, I believe you shouldn’t use it for longer than one week - or ten days at the most
