Hi @ejohn, how are you? May I ask you what exact drugs for chemo did you get? How was it? I'm asking for my mum, she has a similar diagnosis and has radical hysterctomy as well. Also how long after surgery did you start the first chemo round? Did you have any issues with deep vein thrombosis? Sorry for the very specific questions, feel free to ignore it If I asked too much. Thanks

Hello @vika, I am sorry I didn't reply sooner. I had 6 rounds of carboplatin and taxol. It was just not too bad for me. I had bone pain that was the worst with the first treatment. I had fatigue that progressively increased with treatment but wasn't too bad. there were days I couldn't stand for more than 10 minutes, but it was all okay, I just got prepared it would get worse. i had very little nausea, mostly after the last treatment. That is usually a big side effect. I still have numbness and tingling in my fingers and toes but am hopeful for continued improvement. I didn't start chemo for about 5 weeks. I have to look. i was in a hurry but you also want to make sure the wound is healed, and that is mainly the internal vaginal cuff. I did not have deep vein thrombosis. Please feel free to ask, I would be glad to help in anyway I can. Eileen
